Samsung Galaxy S9 price is on the higher end as it is around $719.99. The preorders have already started in Europe, and they will start from 2nd of March in the U.S. Samsung Galaxy S9 release date is on 16th of march, but you can luckily get earlier on preorder if you’re in Europe or the U.S. The Galaxy S8 was launched at £689 in the UK, and S9 is launching for £739. Many people are considering this price hike as too much as the S9 has only minor upgrades.

Samsung Galaxy S9 features:

Samsung Galaxy S9 features are very similar to S8. The phone is made up of premium metal and glass and it has AKG tuned stereo speakers. The speakers are louder and the location of fingerprint scanner is positively planned. The fingerprint scanner is better than S8 and the bezels are a bit more trimmed down, which reduces the overall height of the device. There is a tray for SIM/MicroSD on the top edge of the phone.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 display is a 5.8 inch QHD and super AMOLED with an aspect ratio of 18:5:9. The display is almost same as its predecessor. The camera is the world’s first 1/1.5 aperture camera and it can capture a slow motion video at 960 fps. The dual aperture technology works similar to the human eye function and it can work in low light conditions too. Apart from this, S9 also features AR emoji, 3000 mAh battery, and Android 8 platform.

Difference between Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+

Samsung Galaxy S9+ features are almost similar to the S9. Both the phones are equipped with Snapdragon 845 which is the Qualcomm’s latest chip, so you can’t say one is faster than other. The screen sizes are almost the same and the quad-HD+ resolution is same too. Samsung Galaxy S9+ features are a bit different if we talk about the battery size, camera, and the RAM.

Samsung Galaxy S9 has a display size of 5.8 inches and that of S9+ is 6.2 inches. Samsung Galaxy S9+ has a battery of 3500 mAh which is larger than S8 and S9. S9+ camera features a secondary telephoto camera of 12 MP too. S9 has a 4 GB RAM while S9+ features a 6 GB RAM.
