As the world slowly progresses, technology has started to take over literally every daily essential we know and use. From our homes to kitchens, smart lives to offices; it will now eventually lead us the future of autonomous cars. Recently, a few months ago, Toyota and Lexus announced that by 2025, all of their car models would be self-driven, electric or run by hydrogen power.
At the NAIAS event, Lexus, one of the leading luxury vehicle division of Toyota introduced a unique LF-1 Limitless concept that lets you have options for a gas, hybrid, or all-electric powertrain that would all fit into your future Lexus.
Lexus LF-1 Review
Lexus LF1 concept shows an exquisite design that shows peak creativity in both the exterior and interior of the model. Its design interprets a sports car through an SUV lens. It might be the first electric car of Lexus with the most intimate imagination up to date.
Talking about its exterior design, the LF-1 has more of a sporty vibe that maintains a slightly sloped roofline. The wheelbase is 3.0 inches taller and 3.5 inches wider than the previous model LS. The bottom structure is flexible enough to accommodate electric, hybrid, fuel cell and gasoline powertrains. The LF1 concept structure reflects how technology has beautifully integrated imagination and passion of the new designers. Surely, the early models were not as good-looking as this one.
One of the most bizarre additions is the glass roof that appears to give a solid design to the roofline. The glass is separated in a way to let you open the tailgate.
Lexus LF-1 Features
The SUV come in a copper-meets-rose-gold color that was custom designed. According to sources, the final decision of the color took months and the ultimate version allows light to be diffused and reflected as it does from the ocean. Besides, it has a metallic and gloss finish that completes the design of this Lexus LF-1 concept limitless.
Lexus LF-1 electric car also includes a number of autonomous features: a chauffeur mode that can let you drive home hands-free. There is a suspension that reacts to the driver’s driving style, road conditions and weather data. Apart from that, the four-dimensional navigation suggests you breaks for gas, stopping cars for rest and, setting up hotel reservations. The touch controls include a haptic response and a touchpad for data entry.
