Huawei recently launched their Mate 10 Pro at CES 2018, with the new face recognition technology. And just with that, the company is already gearing up for another phone called the P20. Within a short period, the Chinese manufacturers have made a strong mark in the world of technology. Huawei P20 Release Date
Everyone is excited about the much-awaited release. According to Huawei, P20 will release at the Mobile World Conference 2018 but it could also be expected to show up earlier at a press event on March 27 in Paris. The company is set to release the P-series comprising of P, P Plus and P Lite arriving sometime between April and June 2018.
The P20 will be available in three models- the P20, Huawei P20 plus and P20 Lite. The phones will appear in ceramic black and twilight colors.
Huawei P20 Specs
The Huawei P20 will be competing with the latest phones of 2018 and therefore will be packed with the latest technology. It will use the Kirin 970 chip, along with a massive 8GB of RAM. This Kirin processor will have the artificial intelligence for various features including the face unlock.
Talking about the operating system, it will be a combination of Huawei’s customized interface plus Android, called EMUI. It will have Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI version 8.0.1, combined to give a unique user experience. According to our knowledge and based on the Huawei P20 rumours, all phones of the P20 series will have the same built of the firmware but we’ll find out more as the release gets near.
It has always been the fascinating lightweight design that stands out for Huawei phones. Similarly, for P20, the phone has three camera lenses with two at the back and one at front. There is a fingerprint sensor at the top-center at the back too. Based on the Huawei P20 leaked pictures, we know that this is the first time any phone is launched with three cameras. In addition, P20 has a 6.01-inch screen with a 2244 x 1080-pixel resolution.

The most interesting part of the phone will be its camera. The rear camera will have a three-lens array, which will be branded and enhanced by Leica. The camera will also use AI features for its face recognition technique. The cameras will have a 40mp capacity to take pictures and have a 5x hybrid zoom. In addition, it will perform better in both low light and dark environments.

The features might include the face unlock technology according to a rumor, which is not confirmed yet. The feature is secure enough for payment use, and so fast, it would unlock a phone in just 400ms. If this becomes a hit, then P20 can be Huawei’s major release of this year.

There is no word regarding the price of the phone yet but the P20 and P20 Plus will cost same as its predecessors.
