Staying out of the smart phone competition for a while did not meant they had stopped competing but instead they came back with an even stronger comeback, HTC U11 Life and HTC U11 Plus.
HTC U11 Life and U11 Plus review
According to their social media, HTC disclosed a brand new flagship series, called the U11 phones, which will release two phones at the same time. The most surprising aspect of the two will be the introduction of a new method of communication between the user and the device; being able to be squeezed. Which means that you can now open any of your favorite app simply by squeezing the phone. More details will be revealed in the phone’s launch event.
HTC U11 Life and U11 Plus Price and Release Date
The two phones will release in an event occurring on November 2, 2017 in Taiwan. The original place of sales has not been confirmed yet and so far, there is not announcement made by the company’s social media regarding when the actual purchase will begin. However, it is sure that HTC will not make its customer wait for a long time.
As far as the price is concerned, the expected rate is $649/ £649/AU$999 and given the higher specifications, the price is estimated to be higher for a strong competition with its rival phones like iPhone X and Google Pixel.
HTC U11 Plus and HTC U11 Life Technical Specs
HTC U11 Life is said to be HTC’s first Android one smartphone with an Octa-core Snapdragon 630 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32 GB internal storage memory. In addition, it has a 16mp camera on both sides and 2,600mAh battery. HTC u11 Life display comes with a 5.2-inch full HD screen covered with Gorilla Glass protection.
With a few minor differences, HTC U11 Plus will offer the Snapdragon 835 chipset, 4/6 GB internal RAM, a 12MP back and 8MP front camera. However, HTC U11 plus’s display will have a larger 5.99-inch screen having a resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels.
Both the U series phones will run on new Android 8.0 and feature the innovative Edge Sense technology. In addition, it will have the fingerprint scanner for opening and locking the device.
HTC U11 Plus and HTC U11 Life Features
The HTC U11 phones are said to have eight sensors that are incorporated into the lower half of the phone, four on both sides, which will be responsible for detecting any pressure exerted on the device. Also called the Edge Sense- this ability to squeeze the phone will allow users to open any of their desired application, take a selfie or activate the voice assistant Alexa. Yes, the famous Amazon’s Alexa.
The phone will also have better features than the previous ones giving users a better medium for listening audio, communications and carrying out daily schedules.
