It’s now been a couple of weeks since the Equifax data breach was revealed to the public. If you have not taken any action yet to protect your personal data then please consider doing so. It has been revealed that 143 million people were affected by the cyber-attack, which makes it likely for your data to be in the hands of the hackers if you are an adult in the US.
While they aren’t completely foolproof, there are two services you could take advantage of to add a layer of protection to your data. The two services are credit freezes and fraud alerts.
