Ubisoft recently surprised everyone by announcing the release of its first-person shooting game Far Cry 5 in the upcoming year. After the successful release of Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4 in 2012 and 2014, the gamers are waiting for Ubisoft to announce another sequel of the game.
Far Cry 5 release date is on 27th of February, 2018 and it will be released on the platforms of PS4, Xbox One, and PC (Microsoft Windows). It is also available for pre-order at Amazon so that you can get your hands on the game before your friends do. Far Cry 5 price is $59.99 and the trailer has already been released which you can watch at the end of the article.
Far Cry 5 Features:
As far as Far Cry 5 features are concerned, it is an open world first-person shooter game and offers great opportunities to explore the world. In Far Cry 3, the players were able to explore the tropical islands while in Far Cry 4 the scenes were mostly based on the mountainous regions such as the Himalayas. Far Cry 5 will also have a similar vast and expansive atmosphere as it will take place in Montana in the north west of America. As a player, you’ll be the member of law enforcement in the County and you’ll face militias and cultists in a Far Cry style.
The game is around 20-30 hours long if played till the end on a continuous basis and the writer of the game, Drew Holmes, told that the game is of the same length as compared to the previous versions of the game. The game will support Rapid Packed Math which is a new feature and is found only in the AMD’s RX Vega graphics cards. This feature will improve the performance of the game by far.

In this year’s E3 conference of Ubisoft, we got to see two trailers of Far Cry 5 which revealed the gameplay and the controversial cinematics. The game Far Cry 5 is based on the religious cult in the U.S which is rising up to control the Hope County. This is when your character comes forward as a deputy sheriff and law enforcement agent and you have the task of bringing this group down. Overall the game is an open world adventure type game in which you’ll be able to use customizable weapons and vehicles. You will be also able to customize your character and choose the gender too. So, keep your fingers crossed till February 2018 till the game officially launches.
